Looking forward to a new career

Hi dear friends!~ Some of you might have heard that i was going into the financial services line sometime back. After serious thoughts, i guess the line isn't really suitable for me. Shan't go into details here as its quite a personnal decision. Might be going back to school soon, enrolled (and awaiting acceptance) into a "Specialist Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism" course in Temesak Poly which will start in August. Currently looking for suitable jobs which will allow me to work and study parttime. *Cross fingers*. Just went through some of Pari's pictures and found his cute face simply irresistable at times. A new beginning~

Last week was pretty eventful....in a GOOD way. Yeah! I passed my driving test on my FIRST attempt. *PrOud* LoL, some credit must go to Violet who "pestered" me to go for my lessons, otherwise my driving booklet would still be collecting dust in some obscure corner of the house. Haha.

Im an under-going training "Finance Consultant" !! Got a new job in the finance industry. A HUGE thanks to a great friend whom gave me such an inspiring talk that i just could not pass off the opportunity. Chances do not come often and im going to do my best to succeed. In fact i feel pretty touched by some of the things she told me, i didn't think i was that "good". Well, im going to start believing in myself...I CAN DO IT! =) The company holds frequent financial talks, if you are interested just let me know ba. 4 papers to get my licence, jia you! Some of the financial terms are driving me crazy though. =P

One particular issue kinda riled me up though. The government finally gave a statement giving 3 reasons for the escape of M.S. Shan't go into details here, the papers tomorrow should gave more of an insight. Listening to the news just now, can't stop thinking that some of the reasons they give kind of fall into the "mama" reason category. Maybe they would be better suited to operate a mama shop instead of a high security prison. Kinda embrassing for the country really. Oh well, enough ranting about this issue before i get into serious trouble. Haha. Forgive and forget yah?! =)

Thank you dear friends......its been a "whirlwind" week

Things that ex-colleagues and friends did for me recently touched a raw nerve in my heart, im somewhat surprised, somewhat humbled by the efforts that they go to trying to help me. Ex-colleagues who tried their very best to land me a job in the aerospace industry. A GREAT friend whom gave me the courage and chance to take the "Leap Of Faith". I had always thought i wasn't cut out to do what she was doing but im going to do my VERY BEST if i get the job. If others can do it, why not me? I wanna give myself a chance to succeed in life!

No photos this week, im going to reflect on what i want to achieve....and before that, i have the simple task of washing up my place and doing the laundry 1st...basic duties 1st yah?...*GrOaNs* LoL.....have a great weekend ahead everyone! =)

Its a HOT week !!

The weather has been pretty unbearable this past week. Super hot and stuffy and the occassional rain doesn't help at all, kinda makes things even worse by bringing up the humidity. Abortion sucks!!

Helped Violet with some research on abortion this morning, saw many graphic videos and photos. Oh man, really feel for those poor little unborn babies. The videos and pictures really made my stomach churn, kind of lost my appetite for lunch after that. Anyone interested? I can send you the link. =X The aborted babies looked pinkish, kind of like my baby hammies when they were born. Oh well, i dont think i can ever bring myself to kill a life like that. After all, they didn't choose to be conceived.

Going for my practical driving lesson tomorrow, test date coming in the middle of the month, hope i'll pass. Don't want to spend any extra time and money on lessons. Don't really enjoy lessons with my current instructor who is very quiet. Did i ever mentioned that he speaks and give directions like a mouse? Haha. In the end, found out from another instructor that he got complained by students that he spoke too loudly before. I was like, Pengz.....cant the student like just ask him to lower his volume? Quite poor thing actually. Haha.

Okayz, thats all my rants for today. Didnt managed to do any jogging coz i don't want my legs to ache tomorrow and affect my lesson. Sounds like an excuse right?! I think so too!!! Ciaoz....=>
